BBC Wales Interview
In June Sian was interviewed by BBC Wales (above) about the impact of the Arts on the economy in Wales, where she talked about the invaluable support the Arts Council of Wales has given her. Sian says "The first grant I obtained from them enabled me to launch my business and brand Sian Elin, at Tent London last year. Exhibiting at trade shows can be extremely expensive, and in fact often stops young and/or emerging designers from showcasing their work on an international platform. And so for that I will always be very grateful."
Part of the interview also made it onto BBC Radio Wales (which you can listen to here: bbc-radio-wales-interview), where Sian talks about how our textiles are printed in the North of England, then sewn up in Wales.
